Important Things To Know About Your Tour

So, you and your family or friends have finally decided to experience one of the helicopter tours that Star Helicopters has to offer. We are extremely excited that you have decided to do business with our company, and we can’t wait to see your reaction as you experience one of our wonderful tours which will show you all of the aerial highlights of Los Angeles. Before you embark on your first helicopter tour, there are a few things which you should keep in mind as you prepare for this wonderful experience.
Camera – Bringing your camera is perfectly fine for our helicopter tours. We encourage the use of cameras, so that you will be able to cherish this wonderful memory for years to come.
Dress Code – While we do not have a strict dress code, we do encourage our customers to dress comfortably. Helicopters have tight quarters, so it is important that you are able to easily move around while on one of our tours.
Music – Feel free to bring your iPod or other music device on your helicopter tour. Your pilot will be more than happy to hook up your music device to the sound system in the helicopter, which will allow you to enjoy your music while touring around the beautiful sites of Los Angeles and other surrounding areas.
Ear Protection – Star Helicopters takes your ear protection very seriously and has invested in state-of- the-art Bose noise-canceling headphones. This will significantly cut down on the noise which is typical on helicopter tours.
Tour Guides – All of our tours are narrated by our experienced pilots. Not only are these pilots extremely experienced, when it comes to flying helicopters, but they are also very knowledgeable when it comes to the sights and sounds of Los Angeles.
Gratuity – Your tour package includes all costs, except for the pilot gratuity.
Tour Routes and Times – While we do our best to quote an accurate time for each tour, due to circumstances beyond our control we cannot always predict exactly how long our helicopter tours will take or the exact route of your tour. Depending on weather conditions, flight times and routes may have to be adjusted.
If you have any other questions about our helicopter tours, please feel free to give our office a call at 1-88-TO-FLY-STAR. Our representatives will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have, prior to booking your first helicopter tour.
